Everyone seems to be talking about Cosmelan!

What is Cosmelan 2?

Cosmelan 2 is a homecare treatment cream designed specifically to help those with stubborn pigmentation and wanting a flawless, even skin tone..and it works! You will only wish you had started using this magic cream earlier!

Hyperpigmentation is the most common skin concern that many struggle with. We all dream of an even- toned and translucent skin.  However due to factors such as sun exposure, hormones, medication and age that are the most common trigger for light to dark brown spots or uneven patches on our face.

The buildup of pigment under our skin, also known as melanocytes is responsible for the colour of our skin and factors mentioned above can trigger the onset on excessive melanin production.

A melanin inhibiting treatment such as Cosmelan 2 will reduce and regulate the overproduction of melanin. The key ingredients of Kojic acid, Arbutin, Phytic acid, Azelaic acid and Ascorbic acid inhibits Tyrosinase an enzyme required for melanin formation. The active ingredients regulates the melanin activity, causing the pigment producing cells to slow down their abnormal over-production and function in a more uniform way. For optimal results and also depending on the pigmentation it can be used every night. It is recommended to begin using the treatment cream on alternate nights until your skin has built up a tolerance. The skin may experience flakiness/peeling/ redness which is normal so don’t panic! Hydrate the skin with Hydravital K to calm and soothe the skin and don’t forget application of Sunblock daily in the morning to protect and prevent further pigmentation from Sun exposure.
